This is the project's source page, not the built application. Scout Buddy has an API, a database and a login, so there is nothing for the browser to show until something is serving it.
There are only two ways to be looking at this, and they need different fixes.
The wrong zip was uploaded. This page is the source template; it
is in scout-buddy-complete.zip, which is for reading and running the
code, not for hosting.
Upload scout-buddy-pages-deploy.zip instead — the one with
_worker.js and _headers at the top level. Then press
Update content in Scout Buddy, as usual. Nothing has been lost:
the database is untouched by an upload, and the site comes back as soon as the
right build is deployed.
On Windows, double-click start-windows.cmd. Or, from a terminal in this folder:
npm install npm run setup npm start
Then open http://localhost:8787.
First run takes a few minutes while it installs, builds and loads the demo troop.
See START-HERE.md for the sign-in details and what to look at first.
